Although Google Fiber isn’t the fastest gigabit service available in the US anymore it is the most affordable. And now, Google is trying to make it even more affordable for low-income families. Google will start providing families that earn less than 30,000 dollars a year Google Fiber free of charge. In fact, Google’s research indicates that around 26 percent of families that earn less than 30,000 dollars have internet access. This service will be available in all the cities that Google fiber is currently available in, as well as any locations they choose to bring it to in the future. As Gigabyte internet becomes more mainstream, we can hope to see other internet providers provide similar services.
