Earlier today a number or promotional images for the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 were leaked online along with some specs. The tablet will be very affordable and available in 2 models WiFi only and 3G. The two models will be priced at €180 and €200 which may sound pretty compelling until you see the specs…
The tablet features a 1280 X 800px screen and a Spreadtrum SC7730SE chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A7 at 1.3GHz, 1.5GB RAM and Mali-400MP4 GPU. At least one redeeming factor is that it does support micro SD cards up to 128GB. The tablet will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat preinstalled despite previous rumors suggesting it would come with Lollipop. The promotional images confirm that we will see Microsoft Office along with split screen functionality. The device will be 8.5mm thick with a fabric like material on the back making it easier to hold in your hands. When it comes to connectivity there will be Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and optional 3G HSPA. The battery is said to be a bit on the small size especially for a tablet at only 5,000mAhs.
