HTC First Review

Let me start off by saying that the HTC First is an astonishing android smart phone for its price. And Let me also say this is not a high end smart phone like the iPhone 5 or the Galaxy S4 the specs on this device are not the best especially by 2013 standards and it definitely can not compare to some of the best android smart phones out there, so power users this most likely is not the smart phone for you. Let’s start by talking about the specs, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 duel core processor so not  the best thing out there but personally I really don’t think we need 4 core processors in  our phones just my opinion, especially with Facebook home, witch seems to run very smoothly on the device. If you really don’t like the new Facebook home you can easily disable it and then you will be running jelly bean which also runs very nicely on the device. The Hardware on the phone is beautiful, I love the size of the screen, it is just perfect even if it is kind of small compared to some of the new android phones, it’s only 4.96 x 2.56 x 0.35 inches so if having a big screen is important to you this might not be a very good Choice, but for most people it is perfect, it is also very comfortable to hold it in your hand and it seems to have a very nice rounded back with a rubbery texture on it witch allows you to get a good grip on the phone, the camera is not the best, it is only 5 megapixels witch is not bad at all but you think that if this phone was aimed at social networking it should  have a slightly better camera. Also the phone has LTE so thats also very nice the screen resolution is also quite good it’s a 341 ppi S-LCD 3 Capacitive touch screen something that I have found quite annoying is that the phone has no expandable storage and it only comes with 16GB of memory but after all you cant expect too much form a 99 dollar phone. The HTC First is a wonderful phone for the price and I would recommend it to you if you are a Facebook fanatic or just want a cheep android phone that can run stock jelly bean. Don’t forget to like, comment and share this post.
